Consulting with patients to discuss surgery options and risks, you will maintain accurate medical records and provide direct patient care in the surgical ward. In addition, you will manage surgical emergencies effectively, conduct physical examinations and diagnostic procedures when necessary, and educate patients and their families about surgical procedures and recovery. Supervising and training junior medical staff and surgical teams, you will stay updated with the latest surgical advancements and techniques to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients. Adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards, participation in continuing education, and leading quality improvement initiatives within the surgical department are essential aspects of this role. To qualify for this position, you must hold a medical degree from an accredited institution, have completed a surgical residency program, and be board-certified in General Surgery. A valid medical license to practice in India is required, along with prior experience in a surgical role. Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment are essential.
