As a QC Executive in the PEB Industry based in Indore, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the Pre-Engineered Building components adhere to the highest quality and safety standards. You should possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in quality inspection, preferably within the PEB or structural steel industry. A hands-on experience with various Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods and a sound understanding of fabrication processes are essential for this role. Your key responsibilities will include conducting quality inspections on raw materials, in-process work, and finished products. You will need to perform and interpret results from various QC tests, inspect welding quality, and conduct visual and dimensional checks. It is crucial to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications while operating or inspecting processes involving Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) machines. Identifying and reporting non-conformities, following up on corrective actions, maintaining accurate quality documentation and inspection records, and coordinating with production and project teams to resolve quality issues are also part of your duties. Additionally, you will be required to support internal and third-party audits. To excel in this role, you must have a good understanding of NDT methods such as DP, DFT, MPT, UT, RT, welding processes, symbols, and quality standards. Familiarity with SAW machine operation or inspection, as well as the ability to use inspection tools like vernier calipers, micrometers, welding gauges, etc., is essential. Strong documentation and report-writing skills, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset are qualities that will help you succeed in this position. You should be willing to travel to project sites if required. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including paid sick time, paid time off, and Provident Fund. The work schedule consists of day and morning shifts with shift allowances. The work location is in person.
