Job Description* As a Senior Engineer in Support Logistics, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing all aspects of logistics operations. This includes planning, coordinating, and monitoring the movement of goods and materials, ensuring that the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at a good cost. You will also be responsible for understanding and navigating domestic trade regulations and using IT applications such as SAP to manage logistics processes. Principal Accountabilities* Manage and oversee the logistics operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods and materials. Utilize IT applications such as SAP to manage logistics processes, including inventory management, order processing, and transportation. Understand and navigate domestic trade regulations and procedures. Negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers to ensure optimal terms and conditions for the movement of goods. Develop and implement logistics strategies and processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes. Use metrics to analyze the efficiency of logistics operations and make improvements as necessary. Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services. Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers. Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency. Resolve any arising problems or complaints related to logistics. Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets. Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements. Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements. Foster a positive team environment, demonstrating a global mindset and promoting people excellence.
