Role Overview: As a Production Support Specialist at EY, you will be responsible for providing 24/7 production support for critical applications and systems. Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving production issues, conducting root cause analysis (RCA), implementing permanent fixes, driving continuous improvement (CI) initiatives, collaborating with development teams, and maintaining detailed documentation of incidents. Key Responsibilities: - Provide 24/7 production support for critical applications and systems. - Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner. - Conduct thorough root cause analysis (RCA) to identify underlying issues. - Implement permanent fixes to prevent recurrence of issues. - Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless deployment of fixes. - Drive continuous improvement (CI) initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability. - Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, RCA, and resolutions. - Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 8-11 years of experience in production support. - Experience with monitoring tools and incident management systems. - Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices. - Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and ETL tools. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. - Experience in bug fixing, troubleshooting, and driving CI initiatives. - Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies. - Good exposure to ETL tools and P&C insurance. - Understanding of Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and Data Modelling. - Experience in the Insurance and Banking domain. - Experience leading a team of at least 4 members. - Prior client-facing skills, self-motivated, and collaborative.
