Support Engineer - Ticketing System

Role Overview: As a Support Engineer on the Core engineering team, you will play a crucial role in owning critical OS components, pipelines, services, tools, and application development frameworks. Your work will involve projects that aim to enhance customer-device interaction. This role requires you to quickly adapt and handle diverse tasks efficiently to achieve success. Key Responsibilities: - Provide first level of support for handling Jira tickets and operational issues from production services. - Offer engineering support for incoming JIRA tickets, involving extensive troubleshooting and debugging across multiple product lines. - Engage in maintenance-driven coding projects, focusing on AWS and basics of Python. - Set up and maintain cloud infrastructure. - Develop tools to automate manual operational tasks and streamline service maintenance. - Create monitoring metrics dashboard to report system health and support status. - Collaborate with remote development teams to handle support issues and build a knowledge base. Qualification Required: - 2+ years of software development or technical support experience. - Proficiency in Unix and scripting languages. - Experience in troubleshooting and debugging technical systems. - Knowledge of web services, distributed systems, and web application development is preferred. - Familiarity with mobile testing applications for Android and iOS is a plus.
