Supplier Development Engineer

You will be working as a development engineer in the EMS industry, collaborating with a team of engineers for the creation of parts and fixtures. The team will be based at the supplier's location from the RFQ stage to product validation. The team composition will be determined according to project requirements and timelines, managed by an on-site project manager provided by the service provider. Tasks such as supplier selection, process management, and meeting engineering standards will be handled by the service provider. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful development of parts, meeting delivery schedules and cost targets. You will be involved in activities like cost estimation, cycle time analysis, and engineering change management as part of the development process. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering and have 4 to 8 years of experience in development engineering within the EMS industry. Strong technical leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills are essential. Additionally, you should be self-motivated, capable of influencing technical decisions, and willing to contribute to technical advancements for continuous improvement.
