Key Responsibilities: Formulation Development Design & develop new formulations for dietary supplements (tablets, capsules, powders, gummies, liquids, etc.). Optimize existing formulations to improve stability, bioavailability, and efficacy. Evaluate new ingredients, excipients, and delivery systems for nutraceuticals. Product Testing & Analysis Conduct stability studies, compatibility tests, and dissolution studies. Work with analytical teams to ensure quality and consistency in formulations. Regulatory & Compliance Ensure formulations comply with FSSAI, FDA, EFSA, and other international regulations . Prepare technical documents like COAs, MSDS, and formulation dossiers. Research & Innovation Stay updated with the latest trends in nutraceutical science, herbal extracts, probiotics, and functional foods . Develop and implement novel delivery technologies for enhanced bioavailability. Cross-functional Collaboration Key Skills & Competencies: Expertise in nutraceutical formulation techniques . Knowledge of herbal extracts, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and probiotics . Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality Control (QC) protocols . Strong analytical skills and experience with HPLC, FTIR, and other testing techniques. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Good documentation and regulatory knowledge. Preferred Experience: Experience in tablets, capsules, soft gels, gummies, and effervescent formulations . Prior experience working in R&D, F&D, or a Nutraceutical/Pharma company . Work with procurement, manufacturing, and quality teams for scale-up and commercialization. Coordinate with marketing teams to provide technical insights for product launches. Troubleshooting & Process Optimization Address formulation challenges related to solubility, stability, and taste masking . Improve manufacturing processes for cost efficiency and product performance.
