Supervisor - US Tax Operations and Shared Services

As a Supervisor Tax Shared Services at Citrin Cooperman, you will play a crucial role in managing various tax-related tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of tax services in the local office(s). Your responsibilities will include: - Supervising the assembly of income tax returns, extensions, and miscellaneous information returns. - Overseeing SafeSend Assembly and SafeSend Delivery processes to clients. - Managing the creation of SurePrep Binders and ensuring SurePrep verification. - Handling E-filing tasks, including monitoring the E-file Portal, addressing e-file rejections, and schema validation errors. - Managing CCH Workflow (XCM) tasks such as due date reporting, list maintenance, and updating staffing. - Monitoring and managing Tax Operations automation processes, addressing business errors, and facilitating task processing. - Handling Information Return E-filing in national pools. - Setting up new clients in tax-related systems and providing support. - Supporting Tax Operations SWAT teams and coordinating with the India team for outsourcing and permissioning. - Managing deadlines, reconciling due date reports, and troubleshooting Tax Department policies and procedures. - Training and mentoring Tax Operations coordinators and supporting newly integrated firms. - Communicating effectively with Tax Operations teams within the region. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field. - 6+ years of experience in the tax/accounting industry. - Knowledge of various tax-related systems such as CaseWare, Axcess Tax, CCH Document, GoSystem, Avalara, SurePrep, SafeSend, and CCH Workflow (XCM). - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel. - Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. - Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team. - Strong time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. - Willingness to work overtime and weekends during busy seasons.
