Description
Your role as part of the Trade & Customs team involves ensuring compliance with trade laws, regulations, and internal policies for all import and export activities. You will manage compliance risk, maintain documentation, and support cross-functional teams across procurement, logistics, legal, and supply chain. Your responsibilities include: - Effectively managing and driving the Trade & Customs team's initiatives, deliverables, and business requirements. - Managing Commodity Codes classification globally for Molex by reviewing, validating, transitioning, and providing day-to-day support from India. - Managing Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) globally for Molex by reviewing, validating, transitioning, and providing day-to-day support from India. - Managing the Country of Origin Program by reviewing, identifying, and alerting incorrect CoO to impacted plants and Supply Chain Hubs globally. - Supporting and running the KPI metrics setup, extending support to regional Trade & Customs leads. - Conducting due diligence and providing merger/acquisition support, including trade compliance consulting. - Providing periodic training to the India Trade and Customs Business Shared Services Team. - Managing Denied Party screening for all Molex Business Partners through SAP-GTS and escalating on-time resolutions. Basic Qualifications: - 6+ years of experience in a global electronics manufacturing organization with knowledge of Harmonized Tariff System (HTS), ECCN, CoO Management, and USMCA FTA Management. - Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills. - Ability to work across different functions and divisions with solid business judgment. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high integrity. - Proficiency in SAP and Excel. - Ability to work in the US Time Zone (rotational shift). What Will Put You Ahead: - Well-versed in Team Management, good presentation, communication skills, and cross-cultural traits. - Detail-oriented with good analytical skills and problem anticipation. - Knowledge of SAP-GTS, experience in US Customs Clearance, and familiarity with HTS, ECCN, CoO & USMCA. - Experience in the Electrical and Electronic industry.
