Role & responsibilities Lead the end-to-end design process for furniture products from concept development to final production-ready designs. Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks for manufacturing and prototyping. Develop innovative, ergonomic, and production-feasible furniture designs aligned with brand aesthetics and client needs. Collaborate with production, procurement, and sales teams to ensure design feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and material selection. Optimize designs for wood, metal, cane, and hybrid material usage in modern and sustainable furniture. Create BOMs (Bill of Materials), exploded views, and assembly instructions. Review and iterate on prototypes based on feedback and testing. Ensure all designs comply with quality and safety standards. Stay updated with market trends, new materials, and production techniques. Preferred candidate profile Bachelor's/Diploma in Furniture Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field (B.Tech/B.E., B.Des., Diploma). 38 years of hands-on experience in furniture design using SolidWorks . Strong grasp of design for manufacturability, materials, and joinery techniques. Proficient in 3D modelling especially Solidworks and rendering tools. Experience working with manufacturers and artisans in wood, metal, and natural materials is preferred. Excellent eye for detail, form, and functionality. Candidates currently based in Ghaziabad or willing to relocate are preferred.
