We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator / CNC Machinist / CNC Programmer with over 3 years of hands-on experience in machining operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to ensure the efficient production of high-quality components. A strong technical background, excellent understanding of machining processes, and a commitment to safety and quality standards are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities 1. Machine Setup & Operation Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine setup and machining processes. Set up CNC machines, including installing and adjusting tools, fixtures, and attachments. Load raw materials and monitor machining processes. Perform test runs and make adjustments to ensure optimal machine performance. Supervise machines during operation to ensure product quality and efficiency. 2. Programming & Maintenance Load pre-written CNC programs and, when required, input or adjust G-code/M-code instructions. Conduct routine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and part replacement. Troubleshoot mechanical or programming issues and make necessary corrections. 3. Quality Control & Safety Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments (micrometres, callipers, gauges) to verify conformance to specifications. Document production activities, including quality checks and machine performance logs. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area. Required Skills and Qualifications Technical Skills Prior experience as a CNC Operator or Machinist in a manufacturing environment. Proficient in CNC machine operation and tooling. Strong ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints. Familiarity with G-code, M-code, and CAD/CAM software (3D design knowledge is a plus). Skilled in using precision measurement tools and understanding machining tolerances. Knowledge of materials, cutting tools, and machining best practices. Soft Skills High attention to detail and quality. Strong math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting ability. Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team setting. Capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Education & Experience Certification or diploma in CNC Machining, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Hands-on experience in a production or manufacturing environment. Working Conditions Work performed in a manufacturing or factory setting. Must be willing to work flexible hours, including shifts and overtime as needed.
