Company Description Studio Blotting Paper is a newly formed 360-degree art and content producing studio dedicated to putting stories and storytellers first. With founders who have over 12 years of extensive experience in diverse mediums and over 200 creative projects, our mission is to tell local stories with global ethos. Our present slate includes four feature films, four web shows, four micro dramas and several other projects in development. Role Description This is a part-time, on-site/hybrid role for a Film Production Intern located in Kolkata. We’re seeking Film Production Interns to support our creative and production teams across ongoing film and web show projects. This role offers hands-on exposure to the end-to-end process of filmmaking — from research and pre-production to on-set execution and post-production support. Key Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day production coordination and logistics Support shoots, promotions, marketing and behind-the-scenes documentation Help with creating and maintaining paperwork including contracts, inventory, accounting etc Coordinate post-production logistics and documentation across departments Aid in communication, coordination and execution of logistics during the publicity, marketing, distribution and release Participate in creative discussions, storyboarding, and writing tasks Ideal Candidate Enthusiastic learner with a genuine interest in cinema and production Organized, adaptable, and reliable under deadlines Basic familiarity with camera handling, editing, or writing is a plus Available full-time in Kolkata for the internship duration Must-have Precision with paperwork; zero-defect mindset Google Workspace / MS Office (Docs, Sheets, Slides), PDF editors/combining tools Basic Excel/Sheets Clear written communication (Bengali and English); working Hindi is a plus Ability to handle confidential material and deadlines Good-to-have Canva and other design software Familiarity with Chat GPT, Gemini etc. Prior exposure to film/TV/agency workflows What You’ll Gain Firsthand experience in professional film production workflows Mentorship from experienced directors, producers, and crew members Insight into both creative and operational aspects of storytelling Exposure to diverse content formats including feature films, web shows, micro dramas and branded videos Recommendation letters, internship certificates, and credits for multiple real-world projects that can be added to your CV This internship will strengthen your future job prospects in the film and media industry and add strong professional value if you are a Media or Entertainment student seeking academic recognition Compensation This is an unpaid internship for the first two months .
