E-Commerce Consultant (6-Month Contract)
This role is based in Bagru, Rajasthan. Must be willing to relocate for 6 months. Compensation: ₹4,00,000 – ₹5,00,000 (Fixed) Benefits: Travel, accommodation, F&B included Studio Bagru is launching a new sister brand focused on e-commerce offerings. We are seeking a results-driven E-Commerce Consultant to lead the setup and strategic rollout of this digital retail initiative. This is a hands-on role requiring both executive and teaching capabilities to empower our internal team. Key Responsibilities E-Commerce Strategy & Implementation Develop and implement an e-commerce launch plan for Studio Bagru’s sister brand. Build a fully functional online store on Shopify or another leading platform. Set up product listings, collections, pricing, tax, inventory, and discount systems. Platform Integration Configure and connect WhatsApp Business and Instagram Shop to the store. Ensure global shipping options are set up with optimized logistics solutions (e.g., DHL, India Post, Aramex, Shiprocket, Delhivery). Set up payment gateways for both domestic and international transactions. Brand & Visual Setup Train the team on planning and executing professional e-commerce photoshoots. Build internal documentation for image style guides, product upload guidelines, and content strategy. Team Training & Capacity Building Conduct structured training sessions to upskill Studio Bagru’s team on daily e-commerce operations. Create SOPs for order management, customer service, and platform maintenance. Guide the team on basic performance tracking via Google Analytics, Shopify Reports, Meta Business Suite, etc. Ideal Candidate Profile Required Experience: 3+ years experience launching or managing e-commerce businesses. Proven track record with Shopify or similar platforms. Experience integrating Instagram Shopping and WhatsApp Business. Familiarity with global shipping regulations and cross-border e-commerce logistics. Previous teaching, consulting, or team-training experience is a must. Soft Skills: Strong communicator with a collaborative spirit. Culturally adaptive and able to work in a village-based setup.
