Student Counselor

We are seeking a knowledgeable and student-focused USA Study Abroad Counselor to join our team. The counselor will be responsible for guiding students through the entire process of studying in the USA—from career counseling, university shortlisting, application guidance, visa assistance, to pre-departure support.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students and parents on higher education opportunities in the USA.
• Assess students’ academic background, career goals, and financial capacity to recommend suitable programs/universities.
• Guide students on application procedures, admission requirements, scholarships, and deadlines.
• Assist in preparing SOPs, LORs, and application documentation.
• Provide up-to-date information on U.S. universities, courses, exams (PTE, TOEFL, IELTS), and visa regulations.
• Organize seminars, webinars, and counselling sessions to promote U.S. education opportunities.
• Maintain accurate student records and track application status.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with universities and institutional partners in the USA.
• Ensure high conversion rates from inquiries to successful admissions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Education, Counselling, Management, or related field preferred).
• 1–5 years of experience in overseas education counselling, preferably for the USA market.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. education system, universities, courses, and visa process.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with targets and deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools. Preferred
• Positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualities

• Prior experience with U.S. admissions and visa filing.
• Basic knowledge of standardized tests (PTE, TOEFL, IELTS).
• Ability to handle multiple student cases simultaneously with attention to detail.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
