Position: Student Counselor (Experienced)

We are seeking an experienced Student Counselor with at least 4+ years of relevant experience, ideally within an international tutoring or education company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with parents, students, sales processes, and administrative responsibilities.

Working Hour : 3pm - 10 pm (IST ) Monday - Friday with US public Holidays

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct counseling programs tailored to support student development.
  • Mediate conflicts or misunderstandings between students and teachers.
  • Listen and respond to students’ academic, emotional, and social concerns, providing appropriate guidance and solutions.
  • Review current and historical student reports to assess progress and recommend further support as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents to ensure student retention.
  • Discuss program offerings with parents and support the conversion of inquiries into enrollments.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or an Engineering-related field.
  • Excellent spoken English communication, with neutral or internationally acceptable accents (UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand preferred).
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in educational counseling or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of educational best practices, learning theories, and counseling methodologies.
  • Proven ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, teachers, and stakeholders.
  • Deep passion for education, commitment to student equity, and a desire to make a meaningful impact.
  • Empathetic, patient, and able to address students’ emotional or personal concerns with sensitivity.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel to New York and Texas for annual training (one month per year).
  • Attractive Salary depending on experience with performance incentive will be paid in USD (USD 3000- USD 5000 per month) or equivalent amount in any local currency as preferred
