Structure Design Engineer

As a Structural Design Engineer for Bulk Material Handling Machinery, your role involves developing a detailed methodology for reviewing structural designs and calculations of bulk material handling cranes and machinery. You will be responsible for designing and analyzing bulk material handling structures, including EOT cranes and conveyor structures, to ensure optimum performance and safety. Your key responsibilities include: - Overseeing the review of conveyor GA and detailing of all components - Conducting design reviews of conveyor systems, power calculations, drive equipment selection, curvature calculations, counterweight calculations, and shaft design - Reviewing FEA analysis of crane components such as crab, LT, hoisting frame, etc. using SOLIDWORKS SIMULATION - Verifying motion analysis results - Supporting in proposal preparation and estimation for the Sales team - Identifying improvements in work practices and contributing to continuous improvement efforts - Ensuring timely submission of deliverables to clients - Conducting thorough reviews of topography reports to assess site conditions for structural design - Independently preparing excel tools for calculation reports In terms of qualifications and technical knowledge, you should have: - Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) with a Master's degree in Structural/Mechanical Engineering - Minimum 2 years of experience in structural design, focusing on Bulk Material Handling Machinery for mining and industrial applications - Proficiency in relevant software for structural analysis and crane design such as FEMAP Nastran, Solid Works, STAAD pro, and Autocad Additionally, you should have 2 to 5 years of experience in crane structure design for Bulk Material Handling in mining and other industries. Experience in design and analysis of EOT cranes, mobile cranes, tower crane structures, and vibration/seismic analysis is required. Hands-on experience with software and tools is also necessary for this role.,
