Structure Design Engineer

As a Structural Design Engineer specializing in Bulk Material Handling Machinery, your role will involve developing a detailed methodology for reviewing structural designs and calculations. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing and analyzing bulk material handling structures such as EOT cranes and conveyor structures for optimal performance and safety. - Overseeing the review and detailing of conveyor GA and components, including power calculations, drive equipment selection, curvature calculations, and shaft design. - Reviewing FEA analysis of crane components using SOLIDWORKS SIMULATION. - Verifying motion analysis results and supporting proposal preparation and cost control for on-site activities. - Identifying and implementing improvements in work practices for continuous enhancement. - Ensuring timely submission of deliverables to clients. You will be expected to work in accordance with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System and the BV Code of Ethics. Additionally, you will independently prepare excel tools for calculation reports. Software Skills: - FEMAP Nastran - Solid Works - STAAD Pro - Autocad Qualification & Technical Knowledge: - B.E / B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with a Master's degree in Structural/Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum 2 years of experience in structural design, focusing on Bulk Material Handling Machinery for mining and various industrial applications. - Proficiency in relevant software for structural analysis and crane design. Experience: - 2 to 5 years of experience in Crane structure design for Bulk Material Handling mining and other industries. - Experience in design and analysis of EOT cranes, mobile cranes, and tower crane structures with Sg & DG capacity of 550 Tons. - Expertise in vibration analysis, seismic analysis, and support structure design for cranes already in service. - Hands-on experience with required software and tools.,
