Structural Engineer (Offshore Structure)

You will be responsible for performing structural analysis and design of offshore jacket structures, fixed platform, MODU, and MOPU in compliance with international codes and standards. Your key responsibilities will include developing detailed engineering calculations, reports, and design deliverables for offshore projects. You will also conduct structural modelling, finite element analysis (FEA), and design validation using SACS and other FEA tools. Additionally, you will support concept, FEED, and detailed engineering phases of offshore projects. Coordination with multidisciplinary teams such as Naval Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, etc. will be crucial to ensure design integrity and alignment. Moreover, you will review vendor documents, drawings, and engineering deliverables. Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelors Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Masters degree preferred) and 8-12 years of proven experience in offshore structural engineering, with a focus on jacket structures. Proficiency in SACS and Finite Element Analysis (FEA), strong knowledge of offshore engineering codes and standards (API, ISO, DNV, AISC), hands-on experience in load-out, transportation, and installation engineering are advantageous. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.
