Structural Engineer (Offshore Structure)

Workplace type

Perform structural analysis and design of offshore jacket structures, fixed platform, MODU and

MOPU in compliance with international codes and standards.

• Develop detailed engineering calculations, reports, and design deliverables for offshore

projects.

• Conduct structural modelling, finite element analysis (FEA), and design validation using SACS

and other FEA tools.

• Support concept, FEED, and detailed engineering phases of offshore projects.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (Naval Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) to

ensure design integrity and alignment.

• Review vendor documents, drawings, and engineering deliverables.

Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).

• 8–12 years of proven experience in offshore structural engineering, with focus on jacket

structures.

• Proficiency in SACS and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).

• Strong knowledge of offshore engineering codes and standards (API, ISO, DNV, AISC)

• Hands-on experience in load-out, transportation, and installation engineering is an advantage.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.
