Structural Engineer Level II

Role Overview: As a Structural Engineer at Worley, you will collaborate with the existing team to manage and deliver projects for clients while enhancing your skills and expertise in structural engineering. Key Responsibilities: - Produce structural/system models using Sesam GeniE, FEMAP, STAAD-Pro, and SACS, along with developing local calculations using spreadsheets/Mathcad. - Knowledge of writing Java scripts for Sesam GeniE is preferred. - Perform structural analysis for new platforms/platform modifications. - Manage structural engineering design and implement design changes within budget and schedule. - Initiate cost reduction and productivity enhancement strategies. - Provide technical supervision to project designated structural designers and draftsmen. - Benchmark structural design/drafting for identifying areas of improvement. - Ensure quality assurance by working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system. - Possess experience in working within a structural engineering team in a large multi-discipline project team. - Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of structural analysis in dynamic loading, collapse analysis, spectral fatigue analysis, fire and explosion design, dropped object, etc. - Familiarity with API, DNV, AISC, BS codes. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 5 years of experience with SACS suite of software. - More than 5 years of experience in conceptual studies, FEED, and detailed design of substructure, deck, and bridges for offshore projects like Fixed Offshore Platforms/FPSO/FLNG. - Experience in Jacket design is an added advantage. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. - A recognized B.Tech/M.Tech Degree in the relevant discipline or equivalent.
