Stress Engineer - Aero Engine

You will be part of a dynamic team as a Mechanical Design Engineer - Aero Engine for our esteemed client in Bangalore. With 5-15 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of components and assemblies for gas turbine aeroengines. Your expertise in stack-up analysis, hand calculations, stress analysis, Bruhn method, Dolly design, and gas turbine will be essential for this role. Your responsibilities will include supporting the design and development process for gas turbine aeroengines of various sizes, performing stack-up analysis, finalizing component designs for RFQ and raw material release, selecting specifications for components, establishing Freebody diagrams, conducting buckling calculations using the Bruhn method, analyzing bolt joints, and performing stress analysis for components. Additionally, you will be designing Dolly fixtures for assembly and test processes, ensuring precise and efficient engineering solutions in a challenging work environment. You should possess strong skills in stack-up analysis, envelope finalization, specification selection, Freebody diagram establishment, buckling calculation, bolt joint analysis, geometry check, stress analysis, hand calculations, and material selection. Desired skills include experience in aero or marine engine component design, requirement analysis, concept generation, DFMEA, mechanical hand calculations, life cycle calculations, engineering productivity, service productivity improvement, product performance management, static and dynamic analysis, and GD&T. The ideal candidate will have 5-15 years of experience in design and development of gas turbine aeroengines, with a background in aeroengine design and excellent skills in performing hand calculations for stress, especially in gas turbine applications.
