Role Summary As a CAD Design & Materials Intern , you’ll work directly on product design and development in an exciting startup environment. You’ll use tools like SolidWorks and ANSYS to create and test designs, while also applying your knowledge of materials to build products that are practical, sustainable, and ready for real-world use. Success in this role means delivering accurate CAD models, smart simulations, and informed material choices that help bring innovative ideas to life. Responsibilities Create and refine CAD models and technical drawings using SolidWorks. Perform simulations and basic analysis using ANSYS to validate designs. Apply knowledge of materials to evaluate performance, durability, and sustainability. Support prototyping and design iterations in collaboration with the team. Document design updates, simulation results, and material insights clearly. Contribute fresh ideas to improve products in terms of design, efficiency, and usability. Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Design, or a related field. Proficiency in SolidWorks for CAD design. Familiarity with ANSYS for simulations and analysis. Good understanding of material properties and their applications in design. Strong attention to detail with problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment, with curiosity and adaptability. Prior project or internship experience with CAD and materials is a plus.
