Your work will involve breaking down scripts, planning scenes visually, and collaborating with the production team to ensure that the storyboard aligns with the overall vision and narrative

Strong portfolio showcasing completed storyboards Proven work experience as a Storyboard Artist, Animator, or similar role Expertise in both hand drawing and digital drawing (e

, Photoshop, Storyboard Pro) Strong sketching and design skills Knowledge of animation principles and storytelling techniques (e
g
, Heros Journey) Excellent understanding of camera angles and cinematography techniques Ability to collaborate effectively with writers, directors, and other artists Fluency in visual storytelling Ability to interpret scripts and translate them into detailed visual sequences Experience in both traditional and computer-assisted design Ability to work under pressure and adapt to last-minute changes Liaise with writers, animators, and illustration artists to define the look, style, and level of detail required for the storyboard Read and interpret scripts, breaking them down into key scenes and planning them visually Sequence scenes into storyboard format using panels of images Incorporate special effects, lighting requirements, and scene directions within each storyboard frame Provide briefings to animators on key scenes and visual direction Amend storyboard scenes during the production process as needed Exposure to creative projects and a collaborative environment Competitive salary and benefits package Work in a fast-paced and dynamic production environment
