Stormwater Drainage (Hydraulic Design & DPR)

Experience Required: Minimum 1 to 2 Years in Hydraulic Design & DPR Preparation

Key Responsibilities

• Hydraulic design of stormwater drainage networks (primary, secondary & tertiary).
• Preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) including drawings, cost estimates, BOQs, and technical justifications.
• Hydrological analysis using rainfall-runoff data and flood modeling.
• Integration of GIS data with design outputs.
• Coordination with consultants, government authorities, and stakeholders.
• Ensuring designs comply with relevant IS codes, IRC, MoUD, and CPHEEO guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.E. / M.E. in Civil Engineering, Water Resources, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of stormwater hydraulics, hydrology, and urban drainage design.
• Hands-on experience with HEC-RAS, SWMM, MIKE URBAN, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, GIS or similar software.
• Proven track record in DPR preparation for urban infrastructure projects.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.

• Experience with Smart City / AMRUT / State Government stormwater projects.
• Knowledge of DPR documentation standards as per CPHEEO Manual.
