Stores Assistant

Inventory Management

Knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics.

• Familiarity with safety and storage standards.
• Experience in maintaining records and generating reports.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely updates in the system.
• Conduct regular stock audits to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team for replenishment.
• Receiving and Dispatching Goods:
• Inspect incoming goods for quality and quantity.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of products to avoid damage.
• Oversee the stores of goods to ensure timely delivery.
• store Operations:
• Organize and maintain the store layout for easy accessibility.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness in the Dispatch area.
• Implement FIFO or other inventory techniques as required.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts, and inventory reports.
• Provide regular stock and inventory updates to management.
• Team Coordination:
• Supervise and guide store assistants or support staff.
• Collaborate with the purchase, production, and sales teams for seamless operations.
