Store & Purchase Executive

A Building Materials Purchase Executive is responsible for procuring all materials needed for construction projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, are delivered on time, and stay within budget. This involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing inventory, and collaborating with various teams. Key Responsibilities:

• Sourcing and Supplier Management:Identifying, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers for building materials like cement, steel, timber, etc.
• Purchase Order Management:Creating and tracking purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation.
• Cost Management:Obtaining and comparing quotes, negotiating prices, and monitoring market trends to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Inventory Management:Monitoring stock levels, coordinating with site engineers and inventory teams, and reordering materials as needed.
• Quality Control:Ensuring materials received meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Relationship Management:Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, resolving issues, and fostering a positive working relationship.
• Documentation and Compliance:Maintaining accurate records of purchases, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration:Working closely with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
