Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Store Manager to lead retail store operations, drive business growth and deliver an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate should have strong sales acumen, excellent people-management skills and the ability to consistently achieve business targets while maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Performance

• Drive overall store sales and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual business targets.
• Monitor key retail KPIs including Conversion Rate, ATV, UPT, ASP and Sales per Square Foot.
• Analyse daily, weekly and monthly sales performance and identify business opportunities.
• Develop and execute action plans to improve sales productivity and business performance.
• Drive customer acquisition, retention and repeat purchases.

2. Team Management & Development

• Lead, motivate and develop the store team to achieve business objectives.
• Drive individual sales targets and productivity through regular performance reviews.
• Conduct daily briefings, product training and sales coaching.
• Ensure effective manpower planning, attendance management and staff scheduling.
• Identify talent and build a strong succession pipeline within the store.

3. Customer Experience

• Ensure high standards of customer service and brand experience.
• Drive customer engagement, relationship building and loyalty initiatives.
• Handle customer escalations and ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure the team delivers personalised product recommendations and effective selling.

4. Store Operations & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs and operational guidelines.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, stock availability and effective stock management.
• Monitor shrinkage, stock audits and loss-prevention measures.
• Ensure excellent visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Maintain store hygiene, safety and overall operational standards.

5. Reporting & Business Planning

• Track and analyse store performance through daily and monthly reports.
• Monitor business trends, identify gaps and implement corrective action plans.
• Ensure accurate reporting and timely communication with the Area Retail Manager.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3–6 years of experience in organised retail, preferably in footwear, apparel, sportswear or lifestyle brands.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience handling a store independently.
• Strong understanding of retail sales metrics and business KPIs.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
