Day Store Team Member is required to lead and drive improvement for logistic operation planning, control, FIFO methodology, cycle time management, productivity improvement, and TPM. This role is to ensure materials flow management, inventory accuracy, manning optimization, and storage space management are in place to achieve organization goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and regulations through the implementation of safety procedures and processes (workplace safety and waste management) in the day storage workstation.
Foster employee engagement and manage attrition within the day storage team.
Ensure all QMS documents, SOPs, WIs, checklists, forms, and certificates are updated and controlled.
Ensure compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
Identify technical training needs for Supervisors and off-roll day storage team members, and execute training programs accordingly. Develop visual competency assessment tools to track and improve team competence in the area, ensuring alignment with identified training needs.
Ensure all day storage personnel understand their daily targets to be achieved on a shiftly basis.
Monitor material handling equipment (MHE) and MHE personnel performance. Follow up with vendors for planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
Monitor and improve packaging material wastage to achieve low cost.
Prepare daily reports on plant performance highlights, raw material consumption, and packaging operations.
Ensure smooth return of rejected materials from production to day storage and to warehouse.
Ensure accuracy of raw material stock in Matone at all times.
Develop and maintain a high level of 5S standard in all areas.
Initiate and implement continuous improvement activities using SPM and CPM Charts (takt time improvement, BOM wastage, manpower reduction, space, and inventory optimization projects).
