Store Incharge- Railways

Job Summary

As a Store In-charge for a railway project, you will be responsible for managing all store operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring timely availability of materials, tools, and equipment. You will oversee documentation, coordinate with project teams and suppliers, and uphold safety and compliance standards at the project site.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials, tools, equipment, and parts against purchase orders or delivery challans.
  
• Maintain organized storage with proper stacking, labeling, and handling for both construction and manufacturing items.
  
• Monitor stock levels and raise indent for procurement to ensure availability of materials without interruption.
  
• Conduct regular physical stock counts, cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies between physical and recorded stock.

• Maintain accurate inventory records, including GRNs (Goods Received Notes), MRNs (Material Requisition Notes), issue slips, and stock ledgers.
  
• Update computerized systems (ERP, SAP, inventory software) or manual registers daily.
  
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory and stock movement reports for management review.
