Job Description

Roles and responsibilities : 1. Maintain accurate records of all materials, spare parts, and equipment in the store, ensuring proper stock levels and minimizing stockouts or overstocking. 2. Responsible for the receipt, verification, and storage of incoming materials, spare parts, and supplies; timely invoice process for GRN to update stock levels in inventory. 3. Ensure timely picking of parts as per production requirement, prepare a kit and deliver it to production ensuring OTIF deliveries. 4. Ensure timely picking of parts as per spares requirement and deliver it to packing section for further dispatch. 5. Ensure proper organization of spare parts and manufacturing materials in the store, implementing efficient storage practices (e.g., by item type, usage, or frequency) and maintaining 5S in store areas. 6. Conduct regular stock audits, track usage patterns, and generate reports on stock movement to help optimize inventory control and reduce wastage. 7. Oversee the safe handling, storage, and transportation of materials within the manufacturing facility, adhering to health and safety guidelines. 8. Maintain accurate records for all transactions, including receipts, issues, and transfers of spare parts and materials, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. 9. Close coordination with PPC, Purchase, Production & Spare Part teams to ensure timely delivery of parts as per plan. 10. Maintain regular follow-ups with internal stakeholders to ensure prompt and efficient fulfillment of orders. 11. Conduct periodic audits and assessments to ensure ongoing performance standards are met. 12. Actively identifies and proposes innovative ideas and efficient methods to enhance processes, optimize resource utilization, and improve overall operational effectiveness. 13. Hands on experience with key Inventory Management concepts like FIFO, FSM, Ageing Analysis & ABC Analysis and techniques like Re-order Point, Safety Stock etc. 14. Ensure no variance in stocks with timely reconciliation of parts, hands on experience in Stock Transfer Note and Delivery Challans in ERP system.
