Job Summary

Responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the factory/store inventory. You will handle receiving materials, performing accurate record‑keeping, stocking, auditing, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving & Verification:
• Receive raw materials and supplies; verify quantities and inspect for quality/accuracy.
• Record receipts promptly into inventory systems
• Inventory Management:
• Maintain accurate records of materials received and issued.
• Conduct regular stock level checks and cycle counts.
• Audit inventory and report discrepancies.
• Material Handling & Storage:
• Ensure proper handling, naming, labeling, and storage of items.
• Keep store area clean, organized, and accessible.
• Stock Control & Reordering:
• Monitor stock quantities and notify supervisors for reorder or replenishment.
• Assist coordination with suppliers and internal teams for timely supplies.
• Safety & Compliance:
• Follow workplace safety standards and company policies in the store.
• Store and handle materials per safety procedures.
• Reporting & Documentation:
• Generate regular inventory status reports and material usage summaries.
• Report any stock discrepancies or issues to management.

Skills & Qualifications

• Industry Knowledge:
• Preferably some exposure to manufacturing or pump‑manufacturing environments; familiarity with motor, pulley, pump, or hydrocyclone materials is beneficial Simply Hired.
• Organizational Skills:
• Strong attention to detail in data entry and maintaining records.
• Effective time‑management and ability to multitask.
• General Traits:
• Methodical, reliable, and able to coordinate with suppliers and internal teams.

Job Details

• Type: Full‑time, in‑person
• Shift: Day shift
• Compensation: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month
• Benefits:
• Experience: Minimum ~1 year in a relevant role preferred
• Overtime: Overtime pay may be applicable
