Job Description

As a Storage and Backup Administrator at Capgemini Engineering, a global leader in engineering services, you will work alongside a team of experts to support innovative companies in realizing their full potential. You will be part of a dynamic environment that presents diverse challenges and opportunities every day, from working on cutting-edge technologies like autonomous cars to life-saving robots. Key Responsibilities: - Implement and manage Veeam Availability Suite, Avamar, and IDPA Deduplication - Design and configure IP Network, WAN, and LAN free (SAN) based data backup solutions - Familiarity with data protection and backup recovery solutions such as virtual tape, disk to disk to tape, and data replication - Experience in Unix and/or Windows systems administration - Configure and maintain NDMP backups for various NAS technologies - Plan media rotation, management, and offsite movement for backups - Monitor and troubleshoot database backups, including scripting and automation of minor tasks - Install, configure, and maintain storage hardware backup solutions including physical and virtual tape libraries, disk storage targets, and SAN devices - Administer Brocade director FC switches and blade chassis FC devices - Execute FC zoning for storage volumes and manage Pure snapshot and recovery methods - Oversee site replication of DR data and evaluate IO performance of database LUNs - Ensure backup methods are in place and tested for FC LUNs - Develop and maintain records for storage and FC systems Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Storage Administration, SAN Switch, Pure Storage, HPE3Par, Oracle ZFS, Data Domain, and Isilon - Experience in Backup Administration with Veeam, Avamar, and Data Domain,
