Responsibilities Coordinate and lead end-to-end testing and commissioning (T&C) activities for assigned data center projects, ensuring systems are delivered in line with design intent, operational safety, and client specifications. Planning and Resource Coordination Prepare detailed T&C schedules based on project milestones and equipment readiness. Coordinate with design, planning, procurement, and execution teams to ensure system-wise readiness. Allocate testing tools, instruments, and manpower in coordination with project priorities. Identify long-lead items and track readiness for FAT and SAT. 2. Execution and Testing Oversight Lead and supervise system-level and integrated testing for HT/LT panels, UPS, HVAC, BMS, FAS, CCTV, and other critical systems. Ensure commissioning activities follow SOPs, method statements, and OEM protocols. Monitor calibration, safety measures, and tool usage during live testing. Ensure all punch points, snags, and non-conformities are documented and resolved within timelines. 3. Documentation and Quality Assurance Maintain T&C logs, method statements, commissioning checklists, red-line drawings, and handover packages. Review and validate test reports (FAT/SAT) and support QA/QC in audits. Ensure version control and completeness of test documentation for client sign-off. 4. Stakeholder and Client Management Coordinate with clients, consultants, PMC, and statutory bodies for witnessing tests and validations. Escalate critical issues to the Head T&C with resolution suggestions. Provide periodic updates to internal and external stakeholders on progress, issues, and action plans. 5. Safety and Compliance Enforce strict adherence to live testing safety protocols including LOTO, PPE, and calibrated tool usage. Promote zero-incident culture through toolbox talks and site audits. Ensure testing activities meet industry standards, client specifications, and local statutory norms. 6. Team Management and Capability Building Mentor engineers and technicians in documentation, testing, and troubleshooting. Identify skill gaps and facilitate hands-on learning, certifications, and on-the-job training. Conduct peer reviews and internal audits for continuous improvement in commissioning practices.
