Creating SOP’s. Communicate treatment plans effectively to patients, family members, and other medical staff members. Assist and advise staff members on challenging cases, as needed. Refer patients to specialists or other practices, when necessary. Key Responsibilities: Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications as per doctor’s prescriptions. Ensure accurate labeling, dosage, and patient instructions for all medicines. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, check expiry dates, and manage stock rotation. Maintain temperature logs for temperature-sensitive medicines and ensure proper storage as per regulatory norms. Verify prescriptions for legal compliance and potential drug interactions. Counsel patients on correct medication usage and possible side effects. Adhere to all protocols under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 & Rules, 1945 . Maintain cleanliness, order, and proper documentation within the pharmacy.
