Description

We are seeking an experienced Steel Fixer to join our construction team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in the installation and reinforcement of steel structures, ensuring the safety and quality of construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of steel reinforcement bars (rebar).
• Cut, bend, and position steel bars according to specifications.
• Secure steel bars together with wire, clips, or welding to form rebar frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during installation processes.
• Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate the placement of steel reinforcements in concrete structures.
• Inspect and maintain tools and equipment used in the steel fixing process.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in steel fixing or a related field.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of various types of steel reinforcement and their applications.
• Skilled in using tools and equipment related to steel fixing, including cutting and bending machines.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and follow safety protocols.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
