Steel Detailer

You are hiring for the position of Sheeting / Metal Cladding Detailer to be based in Noida (HO). As a Sheeting / Metal Cladding Detailer, your main responsibilities will include preparing detailed shop drawings and fabrication drawings for metal cladding such as wall panels, roof panels, trims, flashings, and related accessories. You will need to interpret architectural and structural drawings accurately to develop precise cladding details. Coordination with designers, engineers, project managers, and fabricators is essential to ensure seamless integration of cladding components. Generating bill of materials (BOM) and cutting lists for production will also be part of your duties. It is important to ensure compliance with relevant building codes, industry standards, and client specifications. Optimizing material utilization to reduce waste and improve efficiency is a key aspect of the role. Identifying and resolving clash detection issues related to cladding and structural framing will be part of your responsibilities. You will be working with AutoCAD / ZW Cad and other applications to create accurate cladding models. Additionally, assisting in developing and maintaining standard cladding details and best practices and providing technical support to site teams during the installation phase if required are also expected from you. To be successful in this role, you should have an ITI / Diploma / Degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in detailing metal cladding for steel structures / PEB buildings is required. Proficiency in AutoCAD / ZW Cad or other cladding detailing software is essential. Knowledge of fastening systems & flashing details is also necessary. You should have the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and coordination abilities will be beneficial for this position.
