Teach subjects related to specialization (e.g., Medical-Surgical, Community Health, Mental Health, OBG, Pediatrics, etc.). Ensure effective classroom engagement through innovative and student-centered teaching methods. Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and evaluation materials (question papers, assignments, practical exam checklists). Conduct internal assessments, tutorials, and remedial classes to support academic improvement. 2. Clinical Training & Supervision Supervise students during clinical postings in hospitals and community settings. Demonstrate nursing procedures and ensure adherence to clinical standards and patient safety. Liaise with clinical partners for placement, skill development, and evaluation of students. Maintain student performance records during clinical rotations. 3. Curriculum Development & Academic Administration Contribute to curriculum design and continuous improvement in alignment with INC and university standards. Participate in academic audits, board of studies, and departmental meetings. Assist in the organization of workshops, seminars, and conferences for faculty and students. Prepare academic timetables, records, and reports for departmental documentation. 4. Student Mentorship & Support Serve as a class coordinator or mentor to guide students academically and personally. Counsel students on career paths, research projects, and professional ethics. Promote leadership, teamwork, and community engagement among nursing students. 5. Research & Professional Development Engage in academic research, publish papers, and present at conferences. Guide B.Sc. and M.Sc. students in dissertation and project work. Continuously upgrade knowledge and teaching skills through training, webinars, and certifications. 6. Institutional & Administrative Roles Support accreditation and inspection processes (INC, University, State Nursing Council). Participate in committees such as Examination Cell, Anti-Ragging Cell, IQAC, or Student Welfare Committee. Assist in admission processes, student orientation, and academic events. Maintain discipline, ethical standards, and institutional values.
