Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an HVAC Draftsman/Design Engineer located in Trivandrum. The HVAC Draftsman/Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and drafting of HVAC systems for healthcare facilities. Daily tasks include preparing detailed mechanical and electrical designs, producing CAD drawings, and collaborating with other engineers and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of each project. The role requires attending onsite visits to understand project requirements and provide critical domain inputs. Qualifications Experience in Design Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Mechanical engineering Skills in Product Design Strong communication and teamwork abilities Problem-solving skills and attention to detail Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field Previous experience in HVAC design, particularly in healthcare facilities, is a plus
About the Role: Being the integral part of the PMC, to ensure safe execution of construction projects (Institutional Buildings) by implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, complying with statutory regulations, and promoting a strong safety culture at site. Minimum Experience Required: 5 Years Key Responsibilities: ü Implement and monitor health & safety policies in line with Institutional Buildings project requirements, statutory laws, and international standards. ü Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and job safety analysis (JSA) specific to Institutional Buildings construction activities. ü Ensure compliance with fire & life safety codes , infection control protocols, and safety guidelines. ü Conduct toolbox talks, induction, and regular safety training for all site staff and workers. ü Inspect and enforce use of personal protective equipment (PPE) . ü Monitor high-risk activities (electrical works, hot works, working at heights, confined spaces, lifting operations, etc.) and ensure safe practices. ü Implement emergency preparedness & evacuation procedures (fire drills, medical emergencies, chemical handling). ü Maintain and update all statutory records, permits, and safety documentation . ü Investigate and report all accidents, incidents, and near misses, along with corrective and preventive actions. ü Liaise with the client, consultants and statutory authorities on safety matters. ü Ensure contractors/sub-contractors comply with project-specific HSE requirements. ü Promote a safety-first culture across all levels of workforce at Institutional Buildings Key Skills Required ü Diploma / Degree in Engineering with Certified Safety Officer qualifications (NEBOSH / IOSH / Diploma in Industrial Safety). ü Minimum 5 years of safety experience , with at least 3 years in Institutional Buildings/ hospital/healthcare construction projects preferred. ü Good knowledge of NBC, NFPA, IS codes, OSHA standards , and local statutory requirements. ü preference to candidates having experience in handling medical gas pipelines and infection control safety aspects. ü Strong communication, training, and report writing skills. ü Ability to proactively identify risks and implement corrective measures. Role Description This is a full-time on-site (30 kms from CMC Vellore,TN) job role for Project Manager- Civil, who will be responsible for overseeing & forecasting all construction related activities on-site and ensuring the completion of projects on-time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Minimum Project duration is 36 months. Start date is immediate . Duties and responsibilities · Team leadership: Assemble, lead, and motivate project teams, including subcontractors, site employees, and vendors. Clearly define roles and responsibilities. · Project planning and management: Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed timelines, cost estimates, and resource allocation. · Budget and cost control: Monitor and manage the project budget, track expenses, handle change orders, and ensure cost efficiency. · Schedule adherence: Create and manage the project schedule, including defining milestones and implementing corrective actions to mitigate delays. · Stakeholder communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status. · Quality and safety oversight: Ensure the project meets all quality standards and specifications. Implement and enforce site safety protocols and compliance with all building codes and regulations. · Risk management: Identify and assess potential risks throughout the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively. · Documentation and reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, such as contracts, permits, drawings, and change orders. Qualifications and requirements · Education: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required . Diploma Holders in Civil having minimum of 20years experince in Construction Industry in which 8 to 10 years as Lead role can also a · Experience: A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in civil project management, with a track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects of built-up area of minimum 4 lakh sqft . Hospital Construction Management / Development of Institutional Campus experience is preferred. · Technical knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction methodologies, materials, building codes, and safety standards. · Software proficiency: Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project ,Primavera), scheduling tools, and design software like AutoCAD or Civil 3D. · Strong communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members, clients, and other stakeholders. · Problem-solving and leadership: Outstanding leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities to manage teams, resolve conflicts, and make informed decisions. · Licensure and certifications (preferred): A Professional Engineer (PE) license or a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, if any.
