Job Summary: We are looking for a passionate and patient Special Education Teacher with strong expertise in phonics-based instruction to support the diverse learning needs of children with learning difficulties, developmental delays, or disabilities. The ideal candidate will design and implement personalized learning plans that integrate multi-sensory phonics strategies to help children improve their reading, writing, and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Assess the individual learning needs, strengths, and challenges of students with special needs. Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) focused on literacy and foundational skills. Use phonics-based teaching methods (e.g., Jolly Phonics, Orton-Gillingham, or similar) to teach reading and spelling effectively. Adapt instructional materials to meet each student’s needs. Employ a variety of instructional techniques including visual, auditory, and kinesthetic approaches. Track and report student progress to parents and other team members. Collaborate with therapists, counselors, and other educators to support a holistic learning experience. Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
