Role & responsibilities Source and procure staples (grains, pulses, flours, oils, spices, etc.). Evaluate suppliers, negotiate rates, and maintain strong vendor relationships. Analyze demand trends and ensure optimal stock levels. Monitor market prices and update costings regularly. Ensure quality checks, timely deliveries, and PO accuracy. Coordinate with stores, warehouse, QC, and accounts teams. Track purchase performance, cost savings, and category margins.
