Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Safety Officer to oversee workplace health, safety, and compliance practices. The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, ensuring adherence to statutory regulations, and promoting a culture of safety across the organization. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor workplace safety policies, standards, and procedures. Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across all departments. Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective measures. Ensure compliance with local, state, and national occupational health & safety regulations. Organize safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for employees. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with preventive measures. Maintain and update safety records, permits, and compliance documentation. Liaise with external agencies (fire department, labor inspectors, etc.) during audits or inspections. Ensure proper usage and availability of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Promote a proactive safety culture across the workplace.
