Roles and Responsibilities Design and develop LV/ MV switchgear, switchboards, and control panels in compliance with UL 1558, UL 891, UL 508A, UL67 NEMA, CSA, and NEC standards. Prepare and review Single Line Diagrams (SLD), wiring schematics, control circuits, GA drawings, and Bills of Materials (BoM) . Collaborate with mechanical teams to create sheet metal enclosures , ensuring proper busbar clearances, thermal ventilation, and IP/NEMA/UL ratings. Generate fabrication and assembly drawings, validate manufacturability, and provide design support throughout the production cycle. Perform busbar sizing, short-circuit withstand, and thermal calculations while maintaining compliance with design and safety standards. Coordinate with vendors, testing teams, and certification bodies for UL/NEMA compliance, routine testing, and witness testing . Support prototype builds, installation, and commissioning as required.
