As a Civil Engineering Drafting professional at WSP, you will be responsible for producing watermains, piping layouts, and profile drawings according to BIM / CAD standards. Your tasks will include preparing drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D software, such as pipe networks, profiles, alignments, assemblies & sub-assemblies, 3D Feature Lines, and Grading Groups, under high-level guidance. Additionally, you will be involved in the preparation of Revit MEP, HVAC, and Electrical models, ensuring compliance with Client drafting standards and Quality requirements. You will work closely with the Senior BIM / CAD Technician, BIM / CAD Coordinator, or Engineers to complete assigned tasks and adhere to training requirements to enhance your drafting skills. Your role will also involve working in different standards and requirements, preparing engineering drawings to specified standards, and providing drafting / modeling assistance to engineers and technologists for various projects like road/parking lot, storm and sanitary sewer, water main, and grading drawings, as well as 3D modeling works. Additionally, you will be expected to exhibit key competencies in teamwork, learning, and contributing to quality drawing production. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a minimum Under Graduation (or pursuing) in Civil Engineering Discipline, along with 3-8 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting and Autodesk Civil 3D Design. You should be a strong team player capable of working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines, responsible for quality drawing production and self-check of drawings.
