Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily production activities in sheet metal fabrication and assembly lines. Ensure production schedules are met by coordinating labor, equipment, and material flow efficiently. Train, guide, and evaluate production staff to improve performance and adherence to safety practices. Collaborate with Quality Assurance to identify and resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions. Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and 5S standards on the shop floor. Maintain production documentation, including job orders, process checklists, and shift reports. Work with maintenance to ensure all machinery and tools are operational and downtime is minimized. Provide technical input on process improvement, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement. Identify training needs and participate in skill development initiatives for the production team. Required Skills and Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of hands-on supervisory experience in sheet metal furniture fabrication . Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes including laser cutting, bending, MIG/TIG welding, powder coating, and final assembly . Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication blueprints, and welding symbols . Proven experience in managing shop floor teams and resolving production issues under pressure. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles , quality systems, and Kaizen / 5S implementation.
