STAFF NURSE - NICU

As a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse, your role involves providing round-the-clock care to premature and severely ill newborn infants. You will be responsible for caring for the basic needs of infants, such as feeding and changing diapers, as well as performing medical procedures like inserting intravenous lines, conducting tests, and administering medications. Your assistance to NICU physicians in medical procedures and treatments will be crucial, along with using and adjusting specialized medical equipment. Formulating nursing plans, evaluating treatment effectiveness, and offering comfort to both ill newborns and anxious parents are also part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will offer support to parents and family members, educating them on at-home care for their newborns. Key Responsibilities: - Providing round-the-clock care to premature and severely ill newborn infants - Caring for basic needs of infants including feeding and diaper changes - Performing medical procedures like inserting intravenous lines, tests, and medication administration - Assisting NICU physicians in medical procedures and treatments - Using and adjusting specialized medical equipment - Formulating nursing plans and evaluating treatment effectiveness - Comforting ill newborns and anxious parents - Offering support and education to parents and family members on at-home care Qualifications Required: - Registered nursing license - GNM or B.Sc. in nursing - 6 months experience in ICU or NICU - CPR certification - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to offer emotional support to parents, guardians, and family members - Working knowledge of NICU specialized equipment - Ability to work in a team - Ability to offer comfort to ill newborns The company also provides accommodation with terms and conditions.
