Staff nurse

Job Summary:

The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and recovery under the supervision of senior medical staff. The role involves administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, assisting doctors during procedures, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care as per nursing protocols and physician instructions.
• Monitor, record, and report patient vital signs and progress.
• Administer medications and intravenous infusions safely and accurately.
• Assist doctors during examinations, treatments, and medical procedures.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards in the patient care area.
• Educate patients and their families about post-treatment care and recovery plans.
• Manage nursing supplies and ensure proper inventory control.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and follow hospital protocols.
• Maintain and update patient records accurately and confidentially.

Qualifications Required:

• GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing
• Registered Nurse with State Nursing Council
• 1–3 years of experience in hospital or clinical settings (freshers can also apply depending on department needs)

• Strong clinical and patient care skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team
• Attention to detail and empathy toward patients
• Basic computer knowledge for handling patient records

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
