Job Title: Staff Nurse

Reports To: Nursing In-Charge / Medical Superintendent

Job Summary:

The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and well-being. The role involves assisting doctors, administering medication, monitoring patient conditions, and maintaining accurate medical records in compliance with hospital policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Administer medications, injections, and intravenous infusions as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and patient progress; promptly report any changes to the physician.
• Assist in diagnostic tests, procedures, and treatments.
• Educate patients and families on health care, recovery, and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate patient records, charts, and reports.
• Ensure infection control, hygiene, and safety standards are followed at all times.
• Support doctors during rounds, surgeries, and emergency situations.
• Handle medical equipment safely and effectively.
• Provide emotional support and care to patients and their families.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma / B.Sc. in Nursing (ANM/GNM/B.Sc Nursing).
• Registered Nurse with State Nursing Council.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient care, and hospital procedures.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts including nights and weekends.

Working Conditions:

• Hospital/Clinical environment.
• Shift duties including weekends and holidays.
• May require long hours and emergency response.

Salary:

Based on experience and hospital norms.

Job Types: Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
