Staff Nurse

Cradle Child Care is seeking a compassionate, qualified, and reliable Staff Nurse to provide overnight medical care and supervision for children in our care facility. The Night Nurse will be responsible for monitoring children's health throughout the night, responding to emergencies, administering medications, and ensuring a safe and restful environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Clinical Care:

• Monitor the health status of all children throughout the night/morning.
• Administer prescribed medications as per schedule and physician instructions.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies or health concerns.
• Perform basic nursing duties such as checking vital signs, wound care, or feeding as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and update documentation for each child.

Child Safety & Supervision:

• Ensure all children are sleeping safely and comfortably.
• Conduct regular room checks to ensure a secure and calm environment.
• Report any unusual behavior or signs of illness to the appropriate staff/parents.
• Implement and follow all health, hygiene, and safety protocols.

Communication & Reporting:

• Provide detailed handover reports to day staff at shift change.
• Communicate with parents when necessary regarding overnight concerns.
• Collaborate with the childcare team and management to ensure consistent care.

Facility & Hygiene:

• Maintain cleanliness of medical equipment and nursing station.
• Ensure bedding and sleeping areas are sanitary and well-maintained.
• Assist with laundry or light housekeeping tasks related to child care if needed.

Requirements:

• Diploma, Bsc Degree, Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) qualification.
• Valid nursing license.
• CPR and First Aid certification (Pediatric preferred).
• Previous experience in pediatric or childcare settings preferred.
• Willingness to work Day shifts, night shifts, including weekends or holidays.
• Patience, empathy, and strong attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹6,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
