The Staff Nurse will be responsible for managing student and staff health needs, providing first aid, and promoting a healthy and safe school environment.

Experience:
1 to 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in school or residential settings.

Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate medical care and first aid to students and staff.
• Maintain detailed health records and manage medical histories of students.
• Conduct regular health screenings and support vaccination drives as per school health policies.
• Manage and maintain the school infirmary and medical supplies.
• Liaise with doctors, hospitals, parents, and staff in case of emergencies or ongoing treatments.
• Promote health education and hygiene awareness within the school community.
• Support residential students with chronic illnesses or special health needs.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong clinical nursing skills and emergency response capabilities.
• Effective communication skills, especially with children and adolescents.
• Ability to handle stressful and emergency situations calmly.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of school health protocols and child health care.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or B.Sc. Nursing.
• Registration with the State Nursing Council (mandatory).

Salary:
As per industry standards (negotiable based on experience and qualifications).
