Staff Machine Learning Tools Engineer

Role Overview: As a Software Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs. Your work will contribute to launching cutting-edge products that exceed customer expectations. Collaboration with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams will be essential to design system-level software solutions based on performance requirements and interfaces. Key Responsibilities: - Spearhead the development and commercialization of the Qualcomm AI Runtime (QAIRT) SDK on Qualcomm SoCs - Push the limits of performance from large Generative AI models - Deploy large C/C++ software stacks using best practices - Stay updated on advancements in Generative AI, with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs) and Large Vision Models (LVM) - Utilize power-efficient hardware and software stack to run LLMs and LVMs at near GPU speeds Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years of Software Engineering experience OR Master's degree with 3+ years OR PhD with 2+ years - 2+ years of experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - Masters/Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent - 6+ years of relevant work experience in software development - Strong understanding of Generative AI models like LLM, LVM, LMMs, and building blocks - Knowledge of floating-point, fixed-point representations, and quantization concepts - Experience with optimizing algorithms for AI hardware accelerators like CPU/GPU/NPU - Proficiency in C/C++ programming, Design Patterns, OS concepts, and scripting skills in Python - Excellent analytical and debugging skills - Good communication skills (verbal, presentation, written) - Ability to collaborate across a globally diverse team and multiple interests Note: Any additional details about the company have been omitted from the provided job description.,
